Repeat: No Evidence of Black Voter Intimidation in Florida in 2000

October 17, 2004

Here’s a partial transcript of Fox News’ Brit Hume’s interview with U.S. Civil Rights Commissioner Peter Kirsanow, a Republican member of the Commission, who says that a six month investigation revealed that there is absolutely no evidence of an effort to intimidate or suppress black voters in Florida in 2000. Sadly, that will not keep rank and file Democrats from believing the lies of John Kerry and their party leadership to the contrary, but facts are stubborn things nevertheless. We need to keep hammering this point home as Democrats will continue to repeat the destructive myth in preparation for their assault on the elective process in 2004 — in Florida and beyond, I’m sorry to say.
