O’Neill Spanks Koppel and ABC
October 16, 2004In this statement following his Thursday night appearance on Night Line, John O’Neill takes ABC to task for ignoring the claims of 280 Swift Boat Veterans challenging John Kerry’s service while traveling to Vietnam to interview three North Vietnamese Communists and taking their word as gospel. O’Neill, as always, acquitted himself extraordinariy well on Night Line and Koppel demonstrated his customary arrogance. But so far not one detractor,including Koppel, has been able to impeach O’Neill under fire, who has proven himself to be the most credible and prepared witness to enter the public arena in recent memory. I just hope he keeps a high profile up until election day.
