Anklebiting Pundits On NYT Poll and Social Security

March 2, 2005

Check out this excellent post from my friends at Anklebitingpundits who point out the utter inconsistency in polls that show that while 55% of the participants said the problems with Social Security are serious enough that they ought to be fixed now, the overwhelming majority trust Democrats — who say there isn’t a serious problem — more on the issue. This underscores the thrust of my previous post to the effect that the White House has serious work to do in making its reform plan understandable to the average — and even the above average — American.
