Abortion and Sin

October 13, 2004

Here we go again. Kerry can’t legislate an article of faith. Surely even Democrats can see through their candidates being hemmed in on this issue. But Kerry reaffirms his strong Catholic faith.

He isn’t running to be a Catholic president, but a president who happens to be Catholic. Then he turns right around and says that his faith infuses everything he does. Is that not a fundamental inconsistency?

President Bush says it’s important to promote a culture of life. Good. He said reasonable people can come together and reduce abortions. This was a repeat from his statement in the Second debate. Good point on Kerry voting to protect partial-birth abortion.
