This growth in economic activity for the second consecutive month, according to economists, points to “sustained, gradual growth.” More importantly: “The continued improvement in the leading indicators likely means that the declines in the prior five months were only a pause in the longer-term economic advance,” according to the Conference Board, a private research group.
