Roger Ailes Says Fox News is Pro-America
December 16, 2004This report says that Brian Lamb interviewed Fox News President Roger Ailes, to be aired on C-Span December 19, about his career in radio, TV, and politics — and his success with Rupert Murdoch in building Fox News from scratch to be the number one cable news channel. In response to the charge that Fox is an arm of the Republican Party Ailes says that he always has his reporters and hosts report both sides of a story and that one of the differences in his network is that it’s pro-American. Not that other networks are anti-American, but they choose to dwell on the negative instead of reporting the positive things occurring in society. Ailes is very smart and always interesting. The interview ought to be fascinating.
