Bush Calls B.S. On Kerry’s assertion that He’s for Caps on Punitive Damages

He could have voted for it in the Senate, then, says the President. Not much way to answer that one, eh Senator? Boy, the president is focused like a laser and hitting almost all the points tonight. Quite a performance so far.

Now President Bush is explaining what happened to the economy: Tech bubble bursting and the terrorist attacks and the war and Homeland Security.

I hope he points out that under Kerry the spending would be much worse. And he wisely points out that you can’t raise taxes during a recession. And by the way, economists of every stripe agree on that one.
