Scott Ritter Rides Again: Toward Cuckoo Nest

March 9, 2005

Newmax tells us that former U.N. weapons inspector Scott Ritter said Tuesday:

that January’s historic election in Iraq, which set off a wave of democratic reform throughout the Middle East, was fixed.

Claiming he was vindicated when the U.S. failed to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, Ritter insisted that the election results were changed using a “secret recount” held three days after the vote.

Howard Dean may want to recruit this guy in time for the 2006 elections. (His current gig as a columnist for Al Jazeera should be a real plus in his resume from Dean’s perspective). Dean should send a black helicopter escort to guide Ritter to the DNC digs for his briefing. Then, he should be dispatched to the world of Michael Moore, and the two can possibly collaborate on some more “documentaries.”
