He Takes Notice

My friend Danielle DuRant with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries reminds us this Christmas season that God’s blessings follow when He takes notice of someone, like he did Mary when he told her, through the angel Gabriel, that He had chosen her to bear His Son. But the wonder of Christmas is that God has taken notice of all of us — individually and personally:

Thus, the wonder of Christmas is not only that God took notice of a young peasant girl, but also of you and of me. Like the demon-possessed boy and many others, Jesus turns his eyes upon each of us singularly.
